Book Review

        Great Expectations a novel made by Charles dickens has a great plot and concept, but I would not recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an easy read. The reason for this would be Charles Dickens made so many confusing moments where I would have to go back and read what I had just read again. Along with that the characters were confusing too. There were too many characters and connections between these characters that brought along surprising secrets that I had no idea about. Not only was the read confusing there were symbols that just made it worse. I had a feeling something would be a symbol but I wouldn’t know why. Besides this book just being a hard read I felt it took a while to get into the story after the first chapter. I’m not trying to say it was a bad book it is just long and difficult. I defiantly feel there were chapters in the book that he could have cut out they just made the story longer. If your someone that can remember tons of detail, can be patient with stories, and like a long read then you may like Great Expectations. If not this book is not right for you.
